Mirrors Don’t Have Memories, I Said To The Security Guard

– You’re not allowed to take pictures here without a special permission from the management, said the security guard. – Mirrors don’t have memories, I answered him. – Still, they seem to matter to us, I added, and sometimes the reflections seem more important than the objects which they reflect. Do You want me to erase my images, I asked. – No, that won’t be necessary, he answered. Then he smiled.
