New York Day Four: Take The C-Train Uptown Instead

Posted in 5D-II by Knutsvik on February 26, 2011

Friday, 25th February 2011.

There was a hard rain when the alarm rang, so we decided to skip Coney Island and take the C-train uptown to see The Dakota and Central Park instead. An eerie fog was hanging just above ground level on the Southside of the park, and people seemed to be appearing and disappearing out of nowhere.

This is as awesome as a photograph gets.

    Bravo!

hey abhiqrtz! how nice to see you here, and thank you for those nice words!

I guess it’s a good picture, and I’m certainly satisfied myself, but I always see the little flaws in my work – and that’s what motivates me to try and do better next time!

      thanks for stopping by, ab!

        Ha ha ha!

I’m (so I’d like to believe) an artist of sorts myself – with words – and I guess where other’s see brilliance in our works, we see the flaws first.

You’re more than welcome. I’ll surely be browsing around here for a while, and I invite you to see my “work” as well.

        🙂

          hey, Ab!

I’m finally back home after a veeeery long journey with lots of delayed flights due to bad weather, and I guess I’ll be having some computer time, and I’m looking forward to checking out your site too!

          CU!

          • abhiqrtz said, on March 2, 2011 at 5:16 PM

Hope the journey was good. And hope it did complete.

            🙂

Looking forward to your thoughts, and more posts!

              ay, Ab!

life is a bitch and an office rat race – no rest for the wicked, you know!

              Viva!

    Ah! Central Park! 🙂

Og du/dere MÅ spise lunsj i The Boathouse!!

    • Knutsvik said, on February 27, 2011 at 12:36 AM

hehe, hey Starry! ooooh, gratulerer mld nytt kamera! it’s a Canon, I hope *ler* da tar bildene seg selv 😀

(det eh er så lett så 😀 )

ooooooooooog NY is still the greatest city in the world!

      Hepp!

      • stjernetyven said, on February 27, 2011 at 6:30 PM

        Uhm…. det ble nok Nikon, gitt… 😛

        Hepp,hepp 😀

        • Knutsvik said, on March 1, 2011 at 3:06 PM

NYs beste billboard annonse: “If You store Your stuff outside the city it may come back Republican! ManhattanMiniStorage.com!”

NYs beste hørt-gjennom-hotellromveggene: “Oh no! Put the gun down, Frank! I’ll do anything you want me to!”

          😀

          Hepp!

    • Knutsvik said, on March 3, 2011 at 3:59 PM

      thanks, K!

I think it turned out quite good too, so the day wasn’t completely ruined even if the rain was terrible 😀

Nice, nice – I love Central Park, when it’s so cold!

    • Knutsvik said, on March 7, 2011 at 12:47 PM

      Hey Onufry!

CP is great, but the hard rain made it difficult to spend too much time there. next time I go to NYC I’ll go in April, and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy the park then – and take lost of pictures 😀
