Friday, April 13th 2012. Hoover Dam. Nevada, Arizona State Line.

we leave the smoke and the crowds and the neon noise of the Las Vegas casino floors behind us for an afternoon in the mountains. the sun doesn’t always shine, not even in Nevada.

    … and a good saloon in every town, Kaptein. Cause that’s what we need after traveling the Arizona State Line with heads full of wide open countries. Even if the sun doesn’t always shine or just because of that. A gem, my friend!

      ay, Fritsch, I felt certain that you would know Gram P! man, I’ve always loved that record and those songs, and the Mojave Desert … really brought back that line about the truckers and the kickers and the cowboy angels ….

      (I found the saloons, buddy, I really found the good saloons :D)

      I only wish we could’ve spent some more time out there, but …. that was impossible this time. oh well – maybe another time! if things work out well I suspect we’ll be returning again sooner or later……
