Day Two: And The Train Is Almost Empty, A Girls Sits Across From Me

Posted in D-LUX 5, Free Liu Xia, Free Pussy Riot by Knutsvik on September 4, 2012

Tuesday, 4th September 2012.

I’ve always said T lives out in the sticks – there’s only 450 000 people out there in Fo Tan. we have an appointment at The Prince of Wales at eleven, so I take the train from Hung Hom at ten. it’s after the morning rush, and the train is almost empty. a girl sits across from me. we’re more or less alone. at the hotel they said the humidity would reach 90 today, and I feel the sweat run down my back.

we stay in Fo Tan the whole day, then it’s dinner and drinks.

as the night falls the rain rolls in from The South China Sea. I feel the sweat run down my back again, and

it’s night in Hong Kong

again.

it’s night

in Hong Kong again.

“Outside another yellow moon / Has punched a hole in the nighttime, yes / I climb through the window and down to the street / I’m shining like a new dime” (Tom Waits)

No you don’t need 10.000 frames to know how to handle that Leica baby, captein. You need just one & the always great eye of yours. And after dinner & drinks everything works out fine. Just works out fine, buddy. And handle that baby with care when night comes. Again. In Hong Kong.

All the best 6 safe travels, Fritsch.

Playing hide and seek in Hong Kong with Hong Kong girls, playing hide and seek with your new Leica, playing hard as it’s warm and humid, playing hide and seek with us, viewers who can see just little frames of the hard game you’re playing! A great little series, playing with our frustrations and desires, man!
