Day Six: Got Tight Last Night On Absinthe, Did Knife Tricks. Oh Yeah

Posted in 5D-II, Free Liu Xia, Free Pussy Riot by Knutsvik on September 8, 2012

Saturday, 8th September 2012. Macau.

there are three shows running in Macau currently; a family show, a live sex show with private bookings and no public advertisments (except some online blurbs about “european performers”) and Taboo at City of Dreams. we book a VIP table for Taboo. Dita von Teese did a stint here recently, but we miss her by a week or so. the girls look like real dancers, they’re trim and fit and could easily do Vegas if they wanted to. apparently they’re Ukrainian, and shake their stuff as best as they can.

Lucky Hell is from Finland, and is heavily tattooed. she’s a sword swallover, and does her thing to an updated version of Misirlou. the showstopper is when she swallows a wakizashi, a medium sized samurai sword, sideways. that shouldn’t be possible. got tight last night on absinthe, did knife tricks, as Hemingway wrote in his diary. he would’ve been impressed. got tight last night on absinthe,

did knife tricks. oh yeah.

These warm red lights warm my heart, Captain K. And this picture of yours with these silhouettes speak to me in the best manner, they could be part of my Hocus Focus series 😉 I like a lot this kind of coincidences… which are a meaningful signal to me.

ayayay, Francis! I actually think some of your Hocus Focus-images could subconsciously have influenced this shot, as well as the rest of the shots I did of silhouettes against the Aape-neon …..

actually, after reading your comment I’m quite certain that some of your images must have been in my subconscious at the time!

(oh, the power of the internet, huh?)

Shame on you, cpatein, to miss Dita & not presenting one of these all time favourite rock’n’roll shots of yours. Nedd more absinthe to get over this. But at least you met with Lucky from Finland & sure were not only impressed but scared. Right?

The night to me always plays in all colours. My days are black & white. Great, captein, just great!

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

haha, ay Fritsch, oh yeah, I would’ve loved to have met that raven haired beauty and shown her what I could offer 😀 but Lucky wasn’t a bad replacement, buddy, even if she did scare me a bit 😀

night time images are often …. infused with feelings of color, that’s true – I guess it’s because the colors play off so well against the pitch black darkness of the night ….. but then again, your masterful command of high contrast B&W is so great that you make your frames pop with knife sharp contrasts without the use of color no matter what time of day or night it is, pal…..

greetings from a rainy town, Fritrsch, greetings from a rainy, monochrome town ….
