Thursday, 8th November 2012. Andalucia.
my mother’s turning 72 today. the first snow in Stavanger that year fell when she was born. Â my grandfather named her after the snow.
Andalucia is grey and off season. the palm trees downtown look beat up after the rain. an Englishman lays in the sand. he’s mindful. or sligthly drunk.

How beautiful MK……ohhhh….
– my grandfather named her after the snow –
I am afraid it was raining here yesterday
yet I hope your Mother had a beautiful Day
anyway, mine would also be 72 this Year

And what a Sweet Child
His Skin so Snowy White !
He is sooooo beautiful !

ay, Zamoysky, My Polish Princessa! how I love her and how I know you love yours too, and what a beautiful and poetic and rare name her father gave her – not many share her name of Snow and Joy and Bliss…..
the boy is a precious gift, all smiles, and he sleeps safely now in the knowledge that Ay, Captain K is a Nine Finger Pirate who does magic and makes solid coins disappear before his very eyes 😀
ay, Zamoysky, for what is magic if it not in a child’s eyes?
Hepp!

Yes, I could see it in his Eyes, MK

ay, Viva, Maria!

Hepp!
Off-season … ain’t that the best the time to conquer, captein? And what about your magic, pal? It’s right here bruning my eyes, feeding my soul & make me never wnat to leave. It’s magic. Pure magic, buddy!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
ay, Fritsch – an experienced pirate always knows when to go ashore, and off season, when the guards are down, is never completely wrong 😀 thanks, pal!
greetings from the land of beauty, buddy!
Hepp!
Great back and forth between Norway in the past and Spain today, man. Like our friend Florian, I love the off-season mood. Here you captured it so well, captain.
ay, Francis – we are nothing if not caught between the past and the present, between what we were and what we are and what we are to become; just like a tourist town on a rainy off season day.
thanks for your kind words, F!
Hepp!
